FHI 360, represented by USAID LENS, seeks to implement an activity for Scoot, that will have a fleet of up to 40 drivers to implement the delivery of parcels and other items between Business to Business (B to B) and Business to Consumer (B to C) and Consumer to Consumer (C to C). The fleet will be managed by an experienced team that will utilize the latest parcel/document delivery systems to manage the logistical implementation and transport of parcels and items in the most timely and efficient manner. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit offers for software system development specifically tailored for Company activities of parcel and other items delivery, and to manage the fleet and the team in the most efficient way.

RFP #11112018: Home-Based Business Licensing- Training Campaign

 

The objective of the awareness campaign is to reach public sector officials who have authority over or are directly or indirectly involved in the HBB registration and licensing process. Additionally, the training should target civil society entities, such as NGOs, Associations, Cooperatives, who provide regulatory support to micro and small enterprises (MSEs). This campaign will directly result in the increased capacity of government officials to understand HBB registration and licensing procedures, and a significant increase in the efficiency of the process. Government officials will be capable of providing outreach to HBBs interested in licensing, answer questions as to the process, highlight the benefits of formalization and effectively carry out necessary steps as part of the process. RFP #11112018: Jordan Food Week Promotional Activities

 

USAID LENS designed Jordan Food Week to be a sustainable initiative, with the flagship event to be held on an annual basis, with hopefully other smaller events in between. To build momentum for the next Jordan Food Week in 2019 (to be confirmed) and to establish Jordan Food Week as a leading platform for local, artisanal foods, it is necessary to keep the Jordan Food Week media channels active throughout the year.

 

Maintaining the Jordan Food Week online and offline presence helps to keep the spotlight on the artisanal food industry in Jordan, in addition to garnering a loyal following that will make the effort to attend and spend money to support local businesses at subsequent Food Week events.

 

This main objective is to establish Jordan Food Week as the leading platform for promoting Jordanian food and locally-produced artisanal food products.

RFP #11072018: Improving Financial Literacy for Jordanian MSEs

 

FHI 360, represented by USAID LENS, seeks to implement an activity to provide a range of financial literacy technical assistance and capacity building services for Jordanian Micro Small Enterprises (MSEs) mainly in food processing, tourism and transport and logistics throughout Jordan to introduce the concepts of financial education and ways of being financially fit. It is meant to transform the MSEs into more informed and empowered financial decision makers who can set and achieve financial targets. The support will promote positive attitudes towards saving, prudent spending and investing, and deal with financial challenges faced by MSEs.

 

Service providers must have staff that are fluent in both English and Arabic. All content development and interaction with the MSEs beneficiaries must be conducted in mix Arabic and English. Offeror must plan and carry out all related activities, logistics and coordination toward the successful implementation of this intervention.
