USAID LENS in collaboration with Tanmeyah; the Jordanian Microfinance Network, held the first finance fair event in Irbid on March 19, 2017 at Al Hasan Sports City. The Finance Fair's objective was to promote the Jordanian Microfinance Industry (financial/non-financial products and services) in order to admit new clients into this sector. Moreover, the fair aimed at enhancing and cultivating the society’s awareness towards how microfinance can be an effective economic tool used to catalyze developmental startup projects; allowing businesses to launch and grow, thus alleviating poverty and creating new jobs.
