USAID LENS and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs (MOMA) worked together to develop a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Manual for all 100 municipalities across Jordan. In cooperation with the Ministry, USAID LENS held a series of awareness sessions, in a number of Governorates, on the use and benefits of the manual to provide municipal representatives with the necessary knowledge to ensure effective implementation of the public-private partnerships aiming to increase local economic development in local areas. The awareness sessions contributed to increasing the municipal capacity to conduct effective urban investment programming and financing to prepare them to take up strategic and profitable projects under different PPP models.
