Through the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), we assisted several Jordanian business associations in Governance, Financial Suitability, Communications, and Membership Services, in addition to Policy and Advocacy.
The closing event recognized the commitment of business associations accelerate broad based, inclusive economic growth in the Kingdom: Business and Professional Women-Amman, the East Amman Industrial Investors Association, the EDAMA Association for Energy, Water and Environment, the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women, the Jordan Green Building Council, the Jordan Investors Association, the Jordan Logistics Association, the Jordan Mountaineering Association, the Jordan Small and Medium Enterprises Association, the Jordan Union of Restaurants and Confectionery Proprietors, and the Women Access to Entrepreneurship and Development Society.
MSEs make up over 97 percent of private companies in Jordan, and contribute to approximately 40 percent of the country’s GDP. The program started in 2016 to enhance business associations’ abilities to better serve MSEs and enable them to become more competitive.
